One of her fathers friends, Mr. Mertle has taken her in on behalf of her fathers request. The Beast, it's what the boys in sandlot call her dog, Hercules. They dont know the real story. April was playing around the sandlot when she hits the baseball over the fence. She of course can grab the ball but, the boys stop her. One particular boy falls for her. One day they found out the truth. Will he still like her or will all of the boys hate her.

dylan miller is the new kid in town. she was taught how to play ball by her parents at a young age and the young girl had a natural talent. life was going good until she was forced to move away from her home and her boyfriend. dylan thought her life was over until a handsome boy that goes by the name of benjamin rodriguez invites her to the sandlot to ball with his friends.
