It was just another day, Xie Lian going about the mortal realm like he always did. He saves a young child from ferocious dogs, and through twists of fate, that very child now calls him 'Baba' ?! This is the story of Wei Ying, a seven-year-old orphan spanning countless years and ordeals serving to shape everyone's futures. As fate would have it, he is picked right up from the streets by none other than Xie Lian, the strongest scrap-collecting god, who alongside Hua Cheng, the notorious ghost king Crimson Rain Sought Flower, both who adopt Wei Ying as their son. In them, he finds respite, beginnings of timeless bonds and most importantly, home.
