Beast hunter Lucky Rival, his sister Candace, and their little brother Max meet to attend a vigil but are quickly turned around because of a fighting pack of werewolves. They soon realize that going to law enforcement doesn't help in this instance because the law seems to be on the side of the werewolves rather than that of the humans. The Rivals eventually split up after there is a chase by a werewolf but their sibling closeness brings them back together almost in a way that duplicates their childhood when they are confronted by a werewolf again. Through the luck of having a weapon, Lucky Rival is able to chase the werewolf into the forest and later, he receives some interesting news.
