Maverick continues to wrestle with his own past and attempts to build his future away from Top Gun. Rooster finds himself in the center of all this turmoil. I am not a writer. But when I saw Top Gun: Maverick, I "saw" this story in my head, and had to write it down. It began as a short story (Chapter 1), and when I showed it to my sister, she told me that I had to keep writing. So I did.
