When Bill was on the cusps of Death's grip, Bill invoked the name of an ancient power - the Axolotl - so that he may dodge a pitiful end. However, he returns in a different form, as a human, and a different time, in the future. He may have returned as a human, but he may be able to turn the tables once again, but there is a catch: he had the misfortune of being birthed with a fraternal twin - you. What a sick joke. It's always twins. A pair of identical twin brothers were his downfall, two fraternal human children mucked up his plans, and now he was born to a body that has a twin sister. However, maybe you aren't too bad after all, and this could be to his advantage. He has one more shot, but now he has something more to lose. (For reasons tied into the story, and to accompany Bill's appearance, the reader will be a petite Caucasian American with brown hair and yellow eyes. I apologize if this taints the immersion, but I will try not to mention the reader's in-story cannon appearance too often to keep up with the immersion.)

Y/n "Pines" is shipped up to Oregon with her younger twin siblings to spend the summer in the small town of Gravity Falls. Soon to be a Senior in high school, Y/n has a lot on her plate- college applications, scholarships, worsening intrusive thoughts- you know, the normal stuff. Buried in her own secrets and feeling like a blacker sheep in a family of already black sheep, she turns towards the mysteries of the small town, creating her own theories and learning even more from the journals. From day one, a certain triangle has taken an interest in her, and aims to use her to help escape the mindscape and "liberate" our dimension. However, the interest soon spawns an unusual bond between the two, encouraged by a mysterious third party that is strangely attached to the girl. As insomnia, Bill's antics, and worsening thoughts taint her mind further, will Y/n be able to get through the summer with her head screwed on straight, or is she bound to combust under the pressure of all her bottled emotions and hidden secrets?
