Sarai Bloom is a 21 year old homeless girl that is trying to make a way for her and her 10 year old sister Olai Bloom. Along with the help of their 22 year old brother Bryson Bloom. Coming from a low income family it was nearly impossible for them to continue paying the rent for the house they all were living in after their parents recent death in a train crash. Now every night they struggle to find a new cardboard box to live under and barely have enough food that they brought with them in their backpacks to eat. That is until one day a famous rapper by the name of Lil Durk's son notices them on the side of the road. As tired as Durk was after his live performance he begrudgingly gets out the car with his son to see who is out there. Durk's girlfriend India Royale does not like the idea of giving Sarai along with her brother Bryson the opportunity to work for them by doing housekeeping and babysitting but she ends up having no choice as Durk is adamant to help and he is the one paying all the bills. Not only does he enroll Olai back in school but he gets to know Sarai on a deeper level in the process. Maybe being Lil Durk's maid isn't so bad after all.................and maybe Sarai and Durk are meant to be.
