Raiden Yamamoto knows this better than anyone, but he is still struggling in figuring out what he wants and what is best for him. That changes when his dad proposes something Raiden never would imagine. Instead of facing his father, he decides to take a job on the other side of the world, working alongside a Pro Hero with a very interesting way of seeing things. When U.A. High opened its doors for the first time, everyone wanted to go there. With the entire staff being made of top heroes, both retired ones and ones still working, it was basically guaranteed going there meant becoming a top hero. It's also a place that could attract a lot of villains. The only person that wasn't interested in it was me. I know in today's society, it was almost unheard of to not want to be a hero. I just had to make that mistake in applying to the school. Why would I apply to a school I didn't want to go to? Because my family expected me to be the next top hero. But I'm no hero.
