Herded onto a small island with the rest of the population of the feline-human species that somehow sprung up in many years ago in America, island-born Kouya befriends the lab-raised Aria. Kouya was smart; she knew nothing good would come of friendships, especially one with a riot of a person like Aria. But when everything is said and done, she only has one regret.
