Once upon a time, humans and monsters lived together in true peace. It was like that for a while, until a man named W. D Gaster showed up overnight, with the intent to destroy and kill all humans and take over the surface. But the real king of monsterkind, Asgore, stepped in and took it over so he could settle everything without conflict. The humans took the fight to Asgore and the other monsters and won the war. They sealed monsterkind underground with a magic spell. Once the monsters were sealed, Gaster was furious. He claims he could have won if Asgore let him take over the war. Out of anger and the soul pure hate, Gaster killed Asgore and took the throne of the Underground. Monsterkind now lives in fear. Many years later... The townsfolk say that whomever to climb Mt.
