It has been a month since the battle against Adam and his angelic army, two months since she survived the first wave of Dagan's curse, and over half a year since she had arrived in Hell, and Carrot Cake still has too many questions. Who is Dagan? Why did an exorcist that bled black have a medallion with his symbol on it? And most of all... how could his curse be broken? Carrot Cake needs to uncover the truth in whatever way she can, but with her recovering from her breakup with Ramm, everyone else at the Hotel still mourning the loss of Sir Pentious, and the Vees plotting to rule both Hell and Heaven, it's easier said than done.

The threat of holy war is gone. The Exterminations, done. The Hazbin Hotel, proven successful. But the threat of Prince Dagan's curse has just awoken. To save all of Hell from the destruction she will be forced to bring, Carrot Cake, who is still grieving the departure of her best friend Angel Dust, must travel beyond the Pentagram with Ramm, Nellie, and Mariposa to find Dagan's temple, confront him, and put an end to the madness once and for all. Along the way, dark secrets will be revealed, lives put at risk, and Carrot Cake will be forced to make a difficult decision that could rewrite her destiny forever. But when all seems quiet, hope and love can still be found if one remembers they still have a voice.
