After Xornoth's defeat, all was well. Until the feast in Rivendell was hosted. Voices calling out to Jimmy, telling him to find them. Meanwhile, Scott has been researching the crystal which cages his brother, but when the gem goes missing, he knows he has to find it before his brother is freed.

Geminitay, a Wizard of the Crystal Cliffs is finishing her Magic school Academy when Scott comes and tells her he has ice powers that were getting out of control and that snow and ice pikes appeared everywhere in his empire. Gem encourages Scott to try and thaw the ice but Scott gets angry and there were ice pikes coming from the ground and walls, snow everywhere. It affects both Gem and Scott it different ways. Scott leaves despite what Gem said, scared he'll hurt her even more. He runs away, so he could never hurt anyone else. Gem tries to convince herself that she's fine. But does it go deeper then that? Will Scott learn to control his powers? What will happen?
