Tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear as he said, "What's on your mind, beautiful?" Pulling the blanket a bit higher against her, he pressed his lips to her forehead. Sophie smiled, a shaky breath falling from her lips. "I'm just... I need you to promise me something." He frowned softly, "What is it?" "Just in case my mind... shatters someday-" "It won't." Keefe cut in, "I won't let it." "Just in case," Sophie whispered, the pained look on Keefe's face made her chest tighten. "Promise me you'll be there for my family and our friends if I can't, you know, be there." A tear traced it's way down her face. Keefe bit his lip as Sophie continued. "And.. I want you to promise me one more thing." She looked down, steeling herself before looking back into those blue eyes. "I want you to promise me that you won't forget me." This is a human AU with all the classic KOTLC characters. Sophie is a normal college student. She has her life all figured out. She had good grades, a part time job, three amazing best friends, and is finally getting a grip of being alive. Until one little accident- and a even smaller smirk- turns it all upside down.

Sophie and her friends have defeated Vespera and the Neverseen. The Lost Cities are now peaceful; Sophie has graduated from Level 8 and is now facing a turning point in her life. But something is different. Every couple centuries, old magic gets disturbed. That old magic creates one thing... can you guess what that is?? And now Sophie's age group has been hit by a spell... one you might call... the Soulmate Cupid.

Sophie feels overwhelmed with everything that's been happening lately, between Keefe being unconscious in the medical wing, and her recent break up with Fitz. This is a story about clarity for Keefe and Sophie accepting true feelings, with a few new powers thrown into the mix. This is a book that takes place after legacy. There will be spoilers for the entire series in here-so do not read unless you've completed it Yes-this is a fanfiction. These characters and many of the plot points belong solely to Shannon Messenger, but there are lots of ideas that belong to me Yes, the plot will not be as relevant in this book, but I will find ways to intertwine it along with any Sokeefe moments *not completed*
