Tiger, she is a sparkle loving desert girl who depends on her best friend, the princess Shesha for money, food and accomadation. Only when Tiger returns the favour of her hospitality by letting her spend the night as a free women Tiger might actually be doing her one greater. ~~ Eustass Kid and his crew are running low on beli... Typical pirates. So they decide to capture the princess of Thumosta and demand ransom. Although its not exactly ransom or a princes he gets... He captures the Tiger.

Her burden of carrying a five point five hundred million beli bounty isn't easy, with bounty hunters persistent on collecting it thinking she's an easy kill because she's a woman, only to end up dead in their tracks. She sees a near by ship sailing, sturdy in the thrashing rain. This ship happens to be the Thousand Sunny belonging to the Strawhat pirates. Echo comes from the island Funesto deep in the Grandline, an island of Devil Fruit cultivators. She possesses the knowledge passed down to her from generations of Devil Fruit cultivators to grow, harvest and even manipulate Devil Fruits. After a massacre of her homeland, Echo is the sole survivor and last of the Devil Fruit cultivators in the world.The World Government is desperately trying to get their hands on the sole survivor of the Funesto massacre, a single girl who has the knowledge and quite possibly the ability to bring the World Government down on her own. Can the government catch and execute Echo before time runs out? [On a side note.... this is starting out around the same time Luffy is starting to gather himself a crew] So as of the beginning of the story Luffy is about 17 for those who were wondering...
