You were a new pathologist at Bart's hospital working alongside your sister, Molly Hooper. Bart's paid well and you and Molly were excellent at your work. Everything is going swell, your even introduced to an annoying sociopath who flirts with your sister just to get info on a body for a crime. Everything changes when Molly goes missing, and your suddenly chasing a kidnapper. What happens when you are teamed with Sherlock Holmes to find who kidnapped your sister? You see different sides of Sherlock Holmes that you never had seen before...but are they good? I know you little fangirls out there love your romance fills so I promise there will be romance.

Dana Coleman always thought that she was ordinary. She grew up in a suburb just outside of the busiest parts of Calgary, Alberta. Her family was average, giving her love and encouragement as she grew up. Graduating High School with slightly above average grades, she attended a well known collage and got a degrees in journalism, psychology and criminology. Eventually she moved to London, getting a job as a freelance journalist, and occasionally helping Scotland Yard on a case (at a request of a friend of course). Sure, she was a little smarter than the average person, and had a tendency to annoy people with her ability to read them. But she always thought of her life as normal. That all changed when she met Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. After solving one case with them, she finds herself spending time at Baker Street, and falling head first into the dangerous life that comes with knowing the Consulting Detective. But you know what? She kinda likes it.

Ashlyn was your average college graduate: leaving with a Masters in Criminology and moving from her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio to London so she could get some field experience somewhere new. When her interest in the criminal mind catches the eyes of a certain consulting detective, it isn't him she meets first. His brother, Mycroft Holmes, contacts her about a job offer. Years later she has solved case after case with Sherlock Holmes and his partner John Watson, while also reporting to Mycroft about what goes on when he isn't around. Mycroft Holmes is the most emotionless of the two Holmes brothers. He believes caring is a disadvantage, and always keeps people at a fair distance because of it. That is, until he meets Ashlyn. For some reason she isn't affected by his cold nature, and Mycroft can't help but feel drawn towards this. What starts as an ordinary business relationship starts to develop into something more as he starts wanting to spend more and more time around her. Ashlyn isn't oblivious to this, but as time goes on and she starts realizing she has feelings for the seemingly emotionless man, dealing with them becomes the hardest part of her job. She knows well that he would never feel the same. So what happens when the one she loves is put in serious danger? And how will this affect their future together? (This will end up being a series of random one shots that I decide to make. I don't own any of the characters from Sir Conan Doyle or BBC's Sherlock. I only own the OC Ashlyn, whose appearances are the only reason this story would make any sense.)

John has been spending more time with Mary(his wife) these days. Sherlock unaware when his blogger will be back he is looking for a temporary blogger for the time being. He meets the very odd unsociable Veronica Hudson.(Mrs. Hudson's niece). Veronica has moved to London to find a friend to spend her days with.
