Purpled has always been quiet and closed off. He keeps to the shadows and stays out of the way, trying to remain unnoticed. The freshman gets average grades and has only had a few unexcused absences. He's nothing special and doesn't do anything out of the ordinary. Or, at least, that's what they all think. Unbeknownst to his school and classmates, Purpled is in debt. His parents abandoned him and his older brother at a young age, forcing them to fend for themselves. But his brother was too young, too naive to handle the responsibility. So he, too, left the child.
