It was my normal day, getting up early to drop my little brother off for school. He's turning 18 soon and graduating high school. It's difficult being an older sister especially when our parents weren't around anymore. Long story short, I became Tanner's guardian. Tanner was in school and I was home on my lunch break, when suddenly I heard screaming outside. I run to the window seeing people running and other people....eating each other!? I start hearing someone shuffling at the front door, it was my neighbor Sofia trying to get inside. I let her in but was that a mistake? What's going to happen? Where is Tanner? Is he safe? I hope to God he doesn't become one of those things... Kait: Ok. I just started rereading the beginning and some of it doesn't cut it for me, so I started editing the whole story.
