And I know I suck at description but please give it a try Claire Beauchamp an English women from the year 1945. She is a unmarried nurse with a passion for traveling. While in Scotland she came upon some weird stones. She touched the middle one and the next thing she knew she was swept up into a world full of adventure, love, and action

Just think... What if Claire Beauchamp was born in the wrong era? And her true soul mate was Jamie Fraser? There was a reason that the standing stones of Craig na Dun chose Claire to send back in time... And that reason...was her true destiny...

Claire's punishment by Jamie does more harm than good. Already emotionally fragile from one failed relationship, Claire cannot cope with Jamie physically harming her. He worries that his traditions have broken his usually strong Sassenach bride.
