you open the door and look around. no one's there. you turn to leave before you bump your foot over something, you look down and there is a book. you tilt your head and pick it up, searching for someone because surely, there's not just a random book belonging to no one on your doorstep. after about a minute or so of waiting, you head back inside and sit down at your kitchen table. opening the book, you see pages and pages of information about... wait. time travel? or: you find a book titled 'Time Travel' and it changes your life (probably) ALSO ON AO3!
