A great evil has been destroyed, but what replaces it may rend the peace hoped for in two... Agnir is dead. Six months have passed, and, still grieving heavy losses, two of the fivesome struggle to maintain a foothold in the precarious politics of a recovering Serpentine court. With nearly everyone against them and the world unwilling to help the race that struck down countless souls over the course of history, they fight for each other, but their own unhealed wounds and the pressure of the crown threaten to drive a wedge between them. A boy, mastering his magic, wants more. Craving to have something more than the hum in his bones, he joins an academy which hones physical and magical skill--and runs into an old acquaintance. A noble pirate finds a girl in a dungeon--a broken girl, who doesn't remember why she's there, or what she's missing. A prodigal son seeks freedom across the sea, but fate and a red-haired wraith have other plans. And beyond them all, a mage weaves his game and searches for a storm powerful enough to sink a city... *** Cover art is not mine unless specified. However, interrogating the cocky, defiant, and handsome Daniel Fadhill interferes with her duties. Swept up in Daniel's riptide, Ashley must decide for herself where her loyalties lie. Five teenagers who've lost everything but each other. A two-thousand-year-old king seeking revenge for a wrong committed centuries ago. A magical amulet. A prophecy from a captive mage. What would you do if you acquired a relic stolen from a king, lost your parents, and were forced to flee your home with two strangers, all in the same day? When Chad finds out he has a chance to end the two-thousand year long war that has torn his homeland apart, you'd think he'd jump at it. Right? Wrong. Wracked with guilt over a death from his childhood and crippled by grief, he stumbles along on a series of adventures with four companions bent on ending Agnir's reign. And he fully intends to assist them in saving the world without the help of his magic. But after discovering the true nature of the Amulet, an ancient relic stolen from an ancient king, it looks like he may not have a choice in the matter. He must either face and defeat his inner demons, or condemn the people of his homeland to endless tyranny. Pursued by Agnir's forces and frequently summoned by a strange old mage in his sleep, Chad finally achieves victory over himself. But can he defeat an enemy who possesses immortality? *** Any pictures I use for character or setting visualization do not belong to me unless I mention it specifically. *WARNING* I do have a scene which has a heavy theme of suicide. The chapter will be marked with this symbol: •|• and a warning at the beginning. I sincerely hope it isn't triggering to anyone, and the way I wrote it, it hopefully won't be, but just in case, there's the warning. :) *** The lovely cover is by the lovely @sarsar14 *** If you are reading this story on any platform other than Wattpad you are very likely to be at risk of a malware attack. Here and there, I have sudden inspirational splurges that causes me to think of a whole abstract analogy within seconds. That's when I drop everything I'm doing to type out those thoughts before I forget. It doesn't happen often, but it's always worth remembering. These are a few of my favorites that I would like to share to all who will listen.

*COMING SOON* The ACA is broken. Like it never existed. And for Lynn and Nolan, the truth couldn't be more terrifying. With one of her closest allies gone, Lynn's fight to keep up hope in a world bent on destruction is only growing more difficult. And with the still-uncertain doubt of traitors among them, only few true agents remain. Through her raging war of emotions, Lynn must learn to weigh life against humanity, and truth against friendship. Nolan has given up hope that his old life will ever be restored. With shadows looming in the dark, and the torture conjured from his own mind, hope is nothing but extinct. His own brother is a constant reminder, persistent. To continue will only hurt worse. Especially, when the greatest enemy just happens to be himself. Running may be the survivors' only option. Many uncertainties lay in the rubble, and with mouths to feed and treacherous travel through the heart of North America, there's no turning back. Meanwhile, the Kings have not eased their assaults in the slightest. With the ACA gone, the world feels like free territory. To roam in cold blood. But those broken have one more reason to stand up to their enemies. For vengeance.

"What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.

Teenage super soldiers Z-25 (A.K.A Hunter) and A-23 (A.K.A Esparonza) created to be the ultimate warriors. They have been locked away after being ordered to kill their own team members. Now, their only hope of freedom is to complete a series of life, or death games. Should they fail... ...well, let's just say they can't. Also, some chapters are split up. This is more for my benefit as it takes me a while to write sometimes. Updates are sporadic as of right now. COMMENTS AND VOTES ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
