A fanfic final book of the kingkiller chronicles. All characters, IP belong to Patrick Rothfuss. This telling is how I would end the book based on the clues in the first two. Please note this means there will be spoilers if you haven't read the first two books by Patrick Rothfuss, which are brilliant works of art. Go read them! Please give me feedback if you're enjoying it for me to keep at it! I have a framework for the entire book laid out in my head, closing lots of exciting threads and proposing answers to all sorts of mysteries... what's in the box? Where are the Amyr? What started the war? Can the Chandrion be defeated? And most importantly - how will it end?

(U/C or major editing, which ever way you like to put it. The chapters are still up, so read it for all that you want.) A book listing books you have to read if you haven't because they are SO GOOD (I'm in tears QAQ) and it would be a shame if you don't.

Devan Lochees, better known as the Chronicler, might be seen as nothing but the author of Kvothe the Bloodless's biography. But whoever thinks of him this way, has certainly never gotten to know him. Follow his journey from his early years at the University to the moment he met Kote and Bast at the Waystone Inn. Is he really nothing more than a prolific scribe? Is the Name of Iron truly the only name he knows? Author's Note: I am putting some effort into this story to try and make something that can actually be regarded as a complement to the trilogy. I'll try my best to not fall short of Patrick's prose and narrative by that much, but in the end it's inevitable. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and that it might sate some of those Doors of Stone cravings.
