There is no such thing as a normal dinner in the Goodman household. Martin always has his shirt off because it's "bloody boiling." Brothers Adam and Jonny like to annoy eachother. Neighbour Jim likes to visit a lot and always seems to be getting up to something a little less than normal. Meanwhile Jackie is just trying to keep her strange family under control. So when one of the boys find a girlfriend you can probably understand why he doesn't want her to need his family. Every Friday night The Goodman's meet up and have a nice pleasant family dinner. Although sometimes shenanigans do tend to happen. Dads never wearing a shirt because it's bloody boiling apparently; Adam and Jonny constantly play around and Mum deals with it all plus Jim the neighbour ducking by every week. In this story Aunty Val visits a lot more often with her daughter Vivian. Also known as Viv to the boys, the kids are practically joined at the hip because they've known each other ever since they were born.
