Stef (a cop) and Lena(VP) are dating but neither have children. Callie is being fostered by Justina Marks but soon Stef and Lena find out she is being horribly abused and Stef takes her in. It has been a few months that Callie has been living with Stef and she has something to ask her but must deal with the demons of her past. Heavy Stef/Cal.

Callie turns to Stef after problems with Liam resurface. Stef and Callie connect and Callie begins to to open up more, and the two realize they're a lot alike. They need eachother. After Callie is abducted by Liam she's not the same girl, and Stef must dig deep beneath Callie's walls and fight her demons to bring back her daughter. Some parts of this story are graphic and violent.

For those who truly do enjoy this book I'm glad and I'm sorry that you won't be getting more. Maybe I'll try to finish it but for now it's gonna be discontinued.
