This is a sick/injured Giyuu fic inspired by others like this. Inspired by many fanfictions mostly the ones that had a very Sad Giyuu. Tomioka Giyuu is one of the strongest Pillars in the Demon Slayer Corps. He has a silent but deadly persona and isn't known for talking to others, gaining him no friends among the Hashira. But what happens when the Pillar gets sick and his secrets that he hid from the other Pillars and his sensei get revealed. Especially when a very familiar face from Tomioka's past comes back from the shadows.

He's not sure how but Rengoku Kyojuro fell hard for the painfully oblivious and "emotionless" water pillar, Tomioka Giyu. Giyuu was sick not that any of the other pillars knew (or cared, so he thought). He was hit by a blood demon art in the final selection when he saw his best friend die right before his eyes, right when something inside him snapped and Giyuu lost the light in his eyes. His time was running out... Not that he cared he was happy that death would show its ugly face to him so that he could die, be at peace, and with his best friend again. Giyuu feared being a lone but he feared the pain of losing one close to him again so he distanced himself from his fellow hashiras, for that very reason as well as the facts that he knew his time was short (so he didn't want anyone to care about him), and that he didn't deserve to be a hashira it should've been Sabito. But will Giyuu open himself up to the possibility of loving another once more? Find a reason to fight to stay alive?
