It's a shame, truly... When a boy is pushed to far, he slips, and cascades down the mountain, resulting in grievous injuries, which lead to him being bound to a wheelchair. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but in this world, he was seen as a liability, he was unable to find a friend, someone to connect to, all because he couldn't walk to a conference room, having his only solace be the bedridden USS Yorktown. After gazing to the ocean once more, he turns to head back, but was knocked unconscious, an act seen by many of the shipgirls. It was the Sirens, coming to gain a new follower.

The first shipgirl created, she was based off of the design for a proposed German Battleship, and took the role of mother to the first generation of shipgirls. After a massive fight in the Atlantic against the Sirens, she was called in for repairs, which took an incredible amount of time because of the insane amount of damage she took. Finally able to return, meeting new girls and old friends, she has stumbled into a war that she never signed up for. But she will see it through to the end, once again paired with the people she grew to call family...

The Z-class destroyers, a group of destroyers that makes up most of Ironblood's destroyers, they vary wildly from each other all having their own personalities and strengths. However, nearly erased from history, because of its unorthodox method of battle, the Z-73, the lead and only ship of its class, was a monster of the ocean. No songs are sung of it, only legends. The ship seems to be a phantom amidst the war, attacking in storms to disoriente and decimate its foes, even fighting the likes of Hood without so much as a scratch. Earning the feared name "Blitzmeister" Being laid down at the end of the war, the story was never told, but now, awoken once again in the world of ship girls, she shall demonstrate why she is called the Lightning Master.

After the destruction of the Orochi, Akagi saw herself as a failure to the Empire, not just for failing to defeat Azur Lane many times, but also going against Nagato's order to stop creating the Orochi. She left without a second thought, leaving the now unified Azur Lane to mull over where she went to, and why she took the core of the Orochi. Many months later, as Azur Lane was fighting Sirens, a mercenary for hire was doing the same, having been hired by them to assist in their endeavors...
