These feelings are feelings that he's never had before. Was he sick? Was he allergic to Nami? This was all weird to him. Nami had feelings like this for Luffy for a while. It was just super hard for her to admit it. She's had these feelings since she met Luffy in eighth grade. Nami hasn't even fallen that hard for anybody, especially a clueless idiot who is obsessed with eating and wants nothing to do with relationships. This junior year was weird for both Luffy and Nami, since they both are realizing the feelings they have for each other. It wasn't as simple as either of them thought it would be, though. Hello!
