A young boy named (Y/N) who was touched by the Ocean Spirit at birth making him incredibly skilled at Waterbending lived in the Northern Watertribe until the age of 8 when his Mother was banished from the tribe for mastering Waterbending solely because she was a woman. After being banished she made her way to their sister tribe in the South Pole. There (Y/N) met Katara and Sokka who he became close with but when both Katara and (Y/N)'s mothers die for saying that they are waterbenders (Y/N) doesn't let anyone know he's a waterbender for the next 7 years.

Aang thought his brother died 100 years ago along with the other airbenders but what actually happened will change his life forever when he sees a boy with air bending tattoos running for fire nation soldiers.

Upon being rescued by the Avatar, and his friends, Y/n had nowhere else to go, and followed them on their journey.
