Aurora liked to think of her life as one that, unlike seemingly everybody else nowadays, she did not want to re-live. Sometimes, when she's lying awake at night, she likes to think that the fates, or God or whoever it was that planned out peoples lives in the Wizarding World, got bored of planning the same, boring monotonous lives, and so decided to spice it up a little. You know, inject a little bit of pain and trauma into her life every now and then to see how she deals with it. [Previously titled "Cawing of the Crow"] To cross paths with a crow symbolized the beginning of change. On the night that young, Roderick Lestrange was born, a murder of crows appeared outside his home. It was the beginning of the change that would slowly emerge as the child grew older and became a young man. Crows were said to unite the light and dark of the world, and Roderick had no idea he would accomplish such a thing during his lifetime. Raised to follow in the footsteps of his older brothers, Death Eaters Rodolphus and Rabastan, the young man only begins to find himself feeling more and more conflicted with his expected duties as "The Crow" as he ages. He must learn whether to continue in the steps of his family or fly down his own path.

Life started off complicated for young Eleanor Ross after being born to a muggle mother while showing her magical capabilities at an early age. Growing up in a household where her mother fears her, Eleanor mostly finds herself isolated from the outside world as her mother intends on keeping Eleanor's abilities a secret. However, Eleanor finds relief after she turns eleven years old when a letter arrives in the post and a woman comes knocking on her door to reveal that Eleanor is a witch. A few years later, Eleanor is caught up the middle of the pranking chaos that is brought on by none other than Fred and George Weasley.
