Wren Martin is socially awkward. She blocks off herself to the world, hiding behind her favorite hoodie. When a field injury kickstarts his senior year, heʼs turning his free time and attention to Wren. And maybe she might not want to be invisible after all. ***** [Watty's Collector's Edition Winner] [TFA Runaway Prize Winner] [[word count: 150,000-200,000 words]] Cover designed by Ashley Santoro

"When will you accept me?'' Lucian murmured against my skin. The wonderful feeling only grew as he stepped closer, the thick muscles between our layers of clothing pressing against my back. He dipped his head. I could feel his lips against my ear when he spoke. "When, Victoria? I am tired of fighting with you. I know you want me just as much as I want you. Admit it." I couldn't. "Admit it, Victoria!'' Lucian's voice went deep when he raised it. Goosebumps prickled my entire body as he whirled me around so that we were face-to-face. I exhaled softly, hating the dominant position he had over me. Lucian wretched my chin up. His eyes were burning with a lustful smolder. "No." Oh, I would definitely get myself killed tonight. I knew my defiance was angering him further but saying I wanted Lucian would mean I was accepting defeat. And I didn't do that. Love was a game and I was determined to win it.

Café Rouge is the small french cafe that Lola's father has poured his heart and soul into. She'd never thought, he'd acquired it through...darker means. The Italian mob to be more precise. Now it's collection time and Lola's paying the price. Trading herself for her father's life-Lola finds herself in the hands of the incredibly frustrating, confusing and very good looking mob son's boss-Carlos. She's convinced that with Carlos there's nothing more than what meets the eye; a cold-hearted, killer but could she be wrong? Warning: First chapter goes fast since it was taken from a One-Shot. I will be editing this along with the rest of the book much later so bear in mind the story does get better :)
