It was one gloomy night when it all began. I was the assistant to Dr Taylor, a professor at the University of Manchester. A man came in with a cadaver, which Dr Taylor told me to collect. Something feels weird about him and the body seems off; it didn't look dead nor was the heartbeat alive. An incident happened the very next day. One that would leave hysteria. ------ This story is a school assignment on 19th Century short stories.
