George suffers from epilepsy which causes him to be bullied for that at school. After being humiliated in front of the whole school for being gay, the popular boy named Clay decides to stand up for him. Clay, suffering from diabetes with abusive and not supportive parents, does everything to help George get rid of the bullies while struggling a lot himself. The two start getting closer and closer until Clay starts realising he's more similar to George than he expected to be, wanting to be closer to him every day. His friends drag him to a party where a reckless decision was made. Two years later George is alone in his apartment with nothing but the sound of the heater and his sleeping two year old on his chest. He hasn't spoken to his friends since he left the states all those years ago, terrified of what they might say. What they might think.
