Lunamara
(A Villain's Rules For Villainy Book Two)
Once upon a time, a young woman sat down to write a story to escape the unhappiness of her everyday life. Through a series of accidental events on her part, the villain of her story left his world to fetch her and drag her back into the one she had created to make her his Queen. Now, several years later, her teenage twins and their younger brother must face a threat to their world that she had never created. It turns out that just because you create a world, it doesn't mean you have control of it.
Eros and Nyx have been training for this upcoming war all of their lives, and they believe they are more than ready. Like the rest of their Kingdom, they adore their mother and have no idea of who she truly is when it comes to their world, they just believe she is the one who tamed the villainous King. Apollo, however, knows exactly who the Queen is as he inherited part of the abilities she gained in the world she created, and he hides them just as she does. His cousin, Athena, knows as well since she inherited some magic from her father, the God of Death, which she keeps secret too. Magic is becoming more accepted in their part of the world, but those who use it still aren't fully trusted even though everyone is counting on the Dragon Ryders to save them from the Dark Emperor. If he has his way, everything magical will be eradicated with the humans left over enslaved by his empire.
The Queen, Artemis, will watch over the war from the safety of the castle she was stolen away to and found love in, while her husband, children, and beloved extended family fight against something she never intended to exist. The younger generation believes themselves ready and want to prove themselves while Kai, her villainous King, leads them all to victory. What they don't know, however, is that there is a sacrifice required that will bring all of them to their knees.
This is the second book in the series, however it can be read by itself
