FREE STORY WITH EXCLUSIVE CONTENT. This is *not* a Paid Story. Eighteen-year-old hockey prodigy Elliot Wexler has three goals for senior year. One: somehow graduate with a 3.5 GPA. Two: hide his bipolar disorder from his peers. And three: make it into the NHL with no scandals. Piece of cake. What he doesn't expect is to find Lucy, a homeless girl, hiding from the winter frost in his dad's shed. Elliot's busy, complicated life doesn't permit room for error, and falling in love with a girl from a totally different world sounds like the opposite of a good idea. But Elliot can't help but be drawn to Lucy and her elusive ways--even when she seems to vanish from his life non-stop, each time leaving him with a bigger hole in his heart. But Elliot is determined to break down Lucy's barriers. And when he does, he discovers that her life is more complicated--and dangerous--than he could have imagined. With drafting season approaching, and Elliot's fragile mental health deteriorating, he's forced to face a difficult question: Is first love supposed to hurt so much? *** PLEASE DO NOT ADD THIS STORY TO GOODREADS.

**NOTE: Hey, Crystal here, I wrote this piece years ago as I exited middle school. The grammar and language here is the way my 14 year old self wrote. I don't want to go back and edit anything just becuase this piece truly embodies who I was at that time , and editing it now would ruin the authenticity. This Guide is truly coming from someone who just finished middle school, and it represents my personal experience. Thank you for understanding** Whether if your entering Middle School as a 5th,6th, or 7th grader, or simply reading for fun- this book will be your guide to the rising action of your educational career. Middle school will be the quickest and newest years of your life. One minute your at the bottom of the food chain and in a blink of your eyes all of a sudden your at the top and on your way to freshman year of high school. This book will contain all the things that your teachers never explained to you, It will answer your burning questions that you just couldn't ask your teachers. The holes and gaps about the everyday life. The social life and environment of your new school. Anything and everything you need to know to not only be prepared and survive Middle School, but to make the most out of your Tween life on campus. And of course, any questions that might be left unanswered in here, you can ALWAYS comment and ask me, I will be more than happy to answer your question(s), don't be embarrassed to ask either, I'm not like 35 I'm entering freshman year of HS so I've been there done that with middle school. Which is why I think in a little more credited as to the truth of what I'm writing- I know how middle is from merely a month ago, as suppose to someone who know what middle school was like 15 years ago. I feel like it's more fresh and vivid in my mind. At the end of each chapter there will always be a question column where you may leave any concerns or questions. Thank you for reading, and the best of luck
