This book is all about basic French. This includes the words, how to use them and their grammar. I'm still editing this book because I am planning to apply as a French teacher here in the Philippines one day. Please proofread my work and if you see anything wrong, please tell me so I can fix it. I am not a native French speaker but I have been learning this language for 15 years. Format:English Word - Different French Words French Word (How it sounds like) - Literal Translation WARNING: THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR THE FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED I'm using American / Filipino phonetics. So, pronunciation that you could see varies. For example is bonjour... if you will say bonjour in America or in the Philippines it sounds like bon jooRRRrr. People give emphasis to the "R"...It should be soft. A normal person who is not from France cannot pronounce the R softly. This is why it is slightly omitted in the phonetics i provided to balance with the language we could speak. Just like the word water. In America it sound like "wotr" we say it fast with almost a silent e. but in British it's "woo-tah" and in french it sounds like "what-ter". I tried my best to decipher the best phonetics so it would sound more french or almost the exact replica of saying it based on Filipino / American accent. If you think it is totally different, you could PM me and we could discuss about it thru skype. (Best viewed in mobile) Created on July 9, 2015 - Sept. 15, 2015 Updated on May 14, 2020 - ongoing

Roman mythology is the body of traditional stories pertaining to ancient Rome's legendary origins and religious system, as represented in the literature and visual arts of the Romans. The Romans usually treated their traditional narratives as historical, even when these have miraculous or supernatural elements. The stories are often concerned with politics and morality, and how an individual's personal integrity relates to his or her responsibility to the community or Roman state. Heroism is an important theme. When the stories illuminate Roman religious practices, they are more concerned with ritual, augury, and institutions than with theology or cosmogony. This book contains how the Roman myth created, the story of Romulus and Remus, Roman gods and many other Roman mythology, including the legendary Julius Caesar, The Punic War and Pompeii. 2021 -Completed-

Celtic mythology is the mythology of Celtic polytheism, the religion of the Iron Age Celts. Like other Iron Age Europeans, the early Celts maintained a polytheistic mythology and religious structure. Among Celts in close contact with Ancient Rome, such as the Gauls and Celtiberians, their mythology did not survive the Roman Empire, their subsequent conversion to Christianity, and the loss of their Celtic languages. It is mostly through contemporary Roman and Christian sources that their mythology has been preserved. The Celtic peoples who maintained either their political or linguistic identities (such as the Gaels in Ireland and Scotland, and the Celtic Britons of southern Great Britain and Brittany) left vestigial remnants of their ancestral mythologies, put into written form during the Middle Ages. - 2019 -Completed-

Greek mythology is the body of myths and teachings that belong to the ancient Greeks, concerning their gods and heroes, the nature of the world, and the origins and significance of their own cult and ritual practices. It was a part of the religion in ancient Greece. Modern scholars refer to and study the myths in an attempt to shed light on the religious and political institutions of Ancient Greece and its civilization, and to gain understanding of the nature of myth-making itself. Greek mythology is explicitly embodied in a large collection of narratives, and implicitly in Greek representational arts, such as vase-paintings and votive gifts. Greek myth attempts to explain the origins of the world, and details the lives and adventures of a wide variety of gods, goddesses, heroes, heroines and mythological creatures. - This Book of Greek Mythology contains : The beginning of the world : how the world created by the greek myth The Olympian gods : will tell you about the 12 gods of Olympus + 2 (Hades and Hestia) The Greek Heroes : many famous Greek heroes are here including the mighty Hercules, Achilles and Jason.
