Astarion ascended just like he wanted. Tav helped just like he asked. People change just like they were warned. Fair warning: Ascended Astarion is the villain, Tav frequently disassociates and justifies Astarion's behavior to themselves and the other companions. Domestic violence is implied but not depicted out-right. Verbal abuse is kept to a minimum. Two major characters will die eventually. An alternative epilogue at Withers' party. He meets Remeyra, a feisty half-elf with a hatred for wizards and eyes focused on revenge. Keeping true to Gale's character in game, he quickly gets attached to Remeyra and his new goal becomes helping her in her adventures. But what they don't know is that their journey to Baldur's Gate will be troublesome. author's note: since Gale falls in love with Tav the second we pull him out of that portal, i wanted to keep that same energy throughout this story. I thinks it's both funny and endearing for him to be like that.

A lot of the events will stay the same, as will some of the main dialogue scenes with the companions, but much content will be added to ensure more depth to the characters and their connections.
