This is my version of Purple Hearts, this story picks up a few months into Luke's deployment and it explores Cassie and Luke's relationships in a lot more depth DISCLAIMER: The Characters do not belong to me. However, the story lines, timeline, events, dialogue, and characterizations are a mix of my own and what has already been established or said in the movie. I have changed and omitted some events, characteristics, history, and the timeline. Additionally, I am NOT a doctor and I know nothing about the military or the Marine Corps, but I do like to do a lot of research about the topics I write about in an effort to try and make this story realistic from a medical perspective and a military perspective, but once again I am not a doctor and I know nothing about the military.
