As the years inch by, the competition between them becomes more and more apparent. It's entirely good-natured on Sakura's side, but the same can definitely not be said for Sasuke. He is as intense in his dislike of her as he is in his love for his brother and parents.

Sasuke looks as if he has been turned to stone, his hands clenching around the kit in his hands. If she didn't think he could turn any redder, she was mistaken.
