Clara Horner is a hard working young MD living in London who happens to be the niece of the Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner. She doesn't have time for watching the races, until every minute of her life becomes filled with Formula 1. I changed a small bit of history - Daniel is still at RB, not Renault. Just because we adore Maxiel, right? Also, English is (obviously, duh) not my first language so be patient.

'𝙒𝙚'𝙧𝙚 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨, 𝙩𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨.' ‏‏‎In a male-dominated sport, it's hard for a woman to find her place, but Daisy Mayfield, a formula 2 driver, gets the chance of a lifetime when she signs for Sauber F1. The only highlight of her summer basically, one she wishes to be over so she can continue with being the most dominant (and stubborn) driver on the 2018 F2 grid, giving her friends and rivals a rough time trying to beat her. While preparing for her new job, lots of people try to make it even harder. Harder to mentally prepare for the biggest challenge of her life. Though it's better to leave some of them behind, Daisy struggles with getting over her ex and the fight with her dad, who both aren't supportive of the decisions she made in the past few months. Luckily there are some nice people having her back, right? The bare minimum, but still. - these are all fictional events that might overlap with real events. The characters in this book aren't real though they are based on real people, the way I portray these people don't line up with their real personalities. IT'S ALL FICTION. I respect everyone I'm writing about and the situations they're going through at the moment. TREAT PEOPLE WITH KINDNESS.- driver x female oc

BOOK 1 Alyssa has been racing under a fake persona for most of her sporting career after becoming sick of the constant dismissal of her talent because of her gender. Gender clearly didn't play a role in driving ability. In her debut season in Formula 2 in 2018 with ART, she finished a single point behind the championship winner, Nick de Vries. She only seemed to improve and managed to beat her teammate, Robert Schwartzman, for the championship in her second year. Despite this, she refused to take off her helmet and reveal her identity to the world. If it hadn't been for Force India spotting her and recommending the young girl, despite her gender, to be a part of a dominant F2 team, Alyssa would never have made it all the way into F1. The pink team, who were successfully clawing back after a dip in performance, liked to gamble; it was certainly a risk when they decided to promote Alyssa up into F1 as a replacement for Sergio Perez. The Brit was only eighteen years old when Force India told her about Checo's retirement, and how she was to be his replacement. Her ability to maintain her F2 champion status despite filling in for him in the F1 seat on two occasions was a main motivator for the decision. They were aware of her struggles to make it as far as she had done so respected her wishes to keep the helmet on and her identity hidden. It brought them more sponsors than Esteban Ocon, and therefore more money to improve the car - why would they complain? For Alyssa, this was a real chance to prove herself. A woman can and will make it big in a male-dominated sport. But will it pay off when it's lights out? -En realidad no fue fácil llegar aquí-Le dije a la cámara, el equipo detrás de esta me miró para que siguera hablando-Ser una mujer dentro del mundo de las carreras ya es más normal, claro.
