y/n is a girl who had had an unfortunate past that causes her to go into the military to get away from her abusive foster parents. being a small girl she is out casted and is thought to be too "weak" to serve. one day as y/n was being picked on, a fellow private stand up to the guy picking on her, and they soon become fast friends. will their friendship continue to grow stronger or will it turn into something more? (I got the idea for this story from a oneshot that @btsanon did) (this is not based off fact seeing that I don't know what grant went through while serving and he doesn't talk about it a whole lot sooo)
