On the date of July 9th 2016, Lexi's whole world was turned upside down as a road trip turned fatal when a semi truck hit the car her and her sister were traveling in on their way back home to Chicago. On this same day, it was also Ian Gallagher's first call as an EMT.
**FYI - This story portrays Ian as straight. His relationship with Mickey in the show is my favorite, however, I wanted to write from the perspective of a female MC. I completely understand anyone who chooses not read for this reason. Thank you!

Non si può dire che la famiglia Gallagher fosse un gruppo interessante e famoso, snob e ricco, ma sicuramente non mancavano i guai.
Era una famiglia formata da 6 fratelli, intelligenti ed esuberanti.
Nicole lo sapeva, lei era una delle tante persone che erano state contagiate da loro.
Suo padre era morto di cancro e sua madre non era riuscita a crescerla molto bene, soprattutto perché la parentela di quest'ultima, Beth, era piena di precedenti penali.
Suo fratello, Terry Milkovich, aveva dei figli, ma quelli che davano più problemi erano Mickey e Mandy.
Nicole era una semplice ragazza dai capelli neri e ondulati, occhi azzurri tipici dei Milkovich, e sguardo all'apparenza innocente.
Lei era cresciuta a casa Gallagher, nel Southside, e non avrebbe desiderato di meglio, perché altrimenti non avrebbe conosciuto il suo migliore amico, la sua roccia.
