Years have passed since Alduin's defeat at the hands of the Dragonborn, the assassination of the Emperor, the end of the Skyrim Civil War, the Vampire Menace, and the Cult of Miraak's downfall. During this time, a small band of former prisoners had risen to become legends, and now they will have to band together once more as the peace they fought so hard to attain is being threatened by rising tensions, the return of vanquished foes, and the emergence of a new threat that threatens all of Nirn.
