Once the merfolk were on the brink of losing, the young prince of Terra Firma at the time, named Solis, snuck out to the ocean one night and struck a deal with the opponent. If they promised that they would not hurt his people any longer, then he would tell the kingdom that he had eliminated the entirety of them in the darkness of the night with his magic. Sadly, Solis was a victim in a terrible outbreak, and he was killed by the circulating virus. Tsukasa was a descendant of the kind prince. Some called him the reincarnation of Solis himself due to his incredible power, but little did the townsfolk know that he had another thing in common with his deceased, famed ancestor... ...and neither did they know that he would find himself falling in love with a merman.
