Since the last episode aired just this week and we're already missing it, I decided to write a book of headcanons to ease the longing a little bit. This is a collection of moments that live between the lines, the glances that last a second too long, the words left unsaid, the quiet nights after loud games, and the soft places rivalry never quite managed to touch. Falling into the Heated Rivalry rabbit hole was absolutely not on my 2025 bingo card-but a few Tarlos pages I follow on IG kept posting about Shane and Ilya, and well... here we are. I read Heated Rivalry and The Long Game in three days, loved them to pieces, and couldn't believe how similar the series feels to the actual content and emotional beats of the books.
