[#1 Teen Fiction | #1 in Romance] Bad boy Luke Dawson is stuck living with clumsy nobody Millie Ripley for the summer. When she ran over his most prized possession, her world changed. She had to pay him back for every dime of damages, and the favors he called in weren't just about money. She had to pay him back, and everyone knows how payback is a... This is a love story. It seemed that all Savannah Benson would amount to was a mess. An unstable girl who couldn't erase her past, and let her demons continue to haunt her day after day, night after night. There was too much wrong with her to even consider fixing her. With no hope for change and a life full of never-ending issues, someone suddenly comes along to throw her off her self-loathing, cold-shoulder routine. The possibility of letting them in doesn't seem so hard, which is the one thing she fears the most, except she can't help it. It's the easiest thing that's happened to her in a long time, and that's what makes it so terrifying. This is not a fairy tale where everyone lives happily ever after - this is a story about love, loss, and every struggle in between. It might break your heart, but at least you'll feel something. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ "and when i need the fire, you're always my l i g h t e r" « #freementalillness »

Highest Rankings 1 in #mythicalcreatures 1 in #werewolvesandvampires 2 in #pack 2 in #2018 3 in #matebond 66 in #romance Small electric sparks run down the length of my body as I look into his cold grey eyes, the moonlight illuminating them further and they flash brighter. He stands a few yards away, with his fingers clenched and his jaw set. A gentle breeze blows his dark chocolate hair off his forehead, showing his angry brows and glaring eyes. A slight shudder runs down my spine as his eyes dance down my body shamelessly. I blush thinking how I had done the same. Suddenly he takes a step forward and on instinct I take many quick steps back, putting distance between us. My heartbeat picks up, thumping louder as my blood pumps faster throughout my body. He growls lowly in warning as I take more hesitant steps away. I turn to the side when two strong arms stop me, I struggle against their holds at first until, but a chilling growl stops everything in its path. Instantly the hands let go and the two men back off. "Why are you running?" A deep voice asks, he stands directly behind me, gently caressing my arm, running his middle finger up and down twice. With my lack of response he grasps my left arm, shaking me with black filled eyes. "Why." He growls. "...t-they agreed that once they're safely back to you, that I c-could leave." My voice is quiet, I look down at the dirt embarrassed at my stuttering. He grips my arm tighter causing me to look up into his dark grey eyes. "That agreement has changed, mate."

Fear. It came when the dead began to roam the streets and cities, but for Scarlett Evans it was always there. How people would react if they knew and the fear of becoming like the monsters who made her the way she is. But no one would see it, she wouldn't let anyone close enough. Stealthy and skilled on her own, she's a threat to any walker or enemy that comes her way. But what happens when she's accepted as part of a group and begins to fall for a certain redneck. Will she finally break or will her scars finally fade away? (I do not own anything except my own characters.)
