14 years after the end of the world, Jacqueline struggles with her own reality. When she meets Charlie and Izzie, she instantly feels compassion for the first humans she's spoken to in months, and devotes herself to saving Izzie's life. Along the way, she discovers there are others that are still alive- Something she always thought she'd be grateful for. But is she? Regardless, she must push forward, although it becomes more and more clear to Jackie that the secret of her survival, and of her future, lives in her forgotten past.
