John hates the idea of soulmates. The scar covered, cursive writing of the word 'Willaim' haunts him with childhood trauma made worse by his experiences from the war. Sherlock has always denied his ability to love. The name on his wrist the only reminder that he can. When he meets John Watson he believes he may have found the only person who could make him more human. But how can he know when John won't show his soulmates name to anyone, ever.

When Sherlock takes matters into his own hands on a dangerous case he finds himself stuck in an alley unarmed. 1 v 3 isn't an ideal fight. Leaving John back at the house like he usually does, Sherlock has to survive the night without Johns sometimes helpful deductions. Will Sherlock survive the night unarmed and alone against 3 criminals?

An incident takes place with Sherlock Holmes, he's gotten himself into some trouble. But things are about to get even more serious if Sherlock can't solve this next case. NOTE: Bit of Sherlock whump/angst/hurting and Sherlock's blogger is there to catch him. A new case shows about after the first chapter or so, which involves some whump as well.
