PHANTASM SERIES BOOK FIVE ---- Tryst (noun): a private romantic rendezvous between lovers, "a moonlight tryst". ---- Your eyes drifted upwards catching onto the glint of the sword that had saved you and following the curve of the blade upwards until you came to a knarled hand, with dirt under the fingernails. You followed the arm upwards until you reached his face - partly obscured underneath a green and white striped hat. You were able to catch onto blue eyes and the scruff of a beard underneath a mop of blonde hair though. What drew your attention most though, was the crow's wings behind him, flared out and glinting by the light of the sword. You hadn't even heard him swoop down for the approach. For someone who hadn't been seen in over a century, the Angel of Death looked young... too young. But then he was spinning away, wings flapping behind him so that he hovered over the ground as he sliced through anything that came too close for comfort. Even the skeletons a ways away weren't safe from his flames when their zombie counterparts came staggering too close. Soon enough, the dark forest was alight with burning undead creatures, providing a light source for you to stagger up to your feet as the Angel slid his sword back into it's scabbard. You weren't expecting him to round on you like he did, fire in his eyes. "What the hell are you doing?"

Book II, Elsoler Series . . . . "I've actually got news for you." They tilted their head. "Oh?" You raised a brow. "I've got another therapist for you. Everyone says that she's good." "Really, Malcolm?" You sighed. "After all we've been through? Wait...did you say 'she'?" You peered into their eyes. Malcolm's expression didn't change. "Are you sure that's smart?" "Like I said," they gave a smile, "people say she's good." You scoffed and rolled your eyes in return. "I'm sure they do. And I'll be the judge of that." "Well you better start getting your judging skills ready. She's arriving any day now." Malcolm turned to leave. "Do I at least get a name?" You called out. You got no response from the guard. You groaned and relaxed against your friend the wall.

Book III, Elsoler Series . . . . . "We have to CLIMB that mountain?" Jack looked at you with disbelief. You couldn't help but chuckle at him. "Don't you mean mountains?" You teased. Kristin joined the laughter when Jack's face morphed into a deadpanned expression. "I think I hear death calling my name." You and Kristin went into another fit of laughter.

if you have no yet read Reach For The Stars you should as this is the Sequel When death comes knocking and know one know how to react after the incident. with guilt tugging everyone's hearts into different directions. Will things ever go back to normal or can things be so broken that no one knows were to start. Sound essay right. Only if they knew the damage left behind.
