Most people would describe, Sioni 'Luvie' Asher, as an atypical teenager. After a fatal encounter with a local gangbanger, Luvie found herself despising boys altogether. That is until she befriends, Asanté O'ji Hughes, an unfavorable face in the city. With that new forming bond between the two, those closest to Luvie begin to question her loyalty and her morals. In the end, Luvie finds herself questioning whether this friendship with Asanté has done more harm to her life than good.
