(The beginning of this fan fiction takes place close to the end of Keith's Blade of Marmora training) Keith has just been sent on a mission to try and steal some of the quintessence Lotor has apparently been harvesting, to try and figure out where it has been coming from. During the mission, a fight breaks out, and Keith emerges covered in quintessence. Little does he know that the quintessence will cause him to change, and not in a rather good way.

The team is on an important mission when something goes wrong. Lance, who was meant to be a distraction got injured making it hard to defend himself when out of nowhere a male Galra takes out all of the guards. When Lance wakes up he is in Blue on his way to the Castle of Lions. After Lance was out of the healing pod he told the others of the his Galran "Bat Man". In the upcoming missions the same male Galra shows up saving the team more then once. All while a certain red paladin is have two major problems, one he is the same race as the enemy and is worried what the others will think when they find out he is more Galran then he expected and two all that while he is hardcore crushing on his so-called rival and teammate the blue paladin.

Keith get's captured, tortured, and broken with the promise of the one thing he wants most. Lotor doesn't know what love is or how to behave. A/N: very different from the normal Keitor I write, but this was actually written before any of the happy stuff. Not even really Keitor, ends with Shiro/Keith. Only two parts. Keith is beginning to distance himself from the team. He realizes he doesn't know much about himself and his past; even who he is. Or what he is. Missions are going normally until Allura decides everyone needs to take a feelings test. Keith starts seeing things and thinks he's going crazy. But after one mission with lotor goes wrong, everything starts falling apart. This is a Klance story but also focused on emotions and deeper feelings.
