The original story is called 'Strings of Fate' by RaDaSunGod] When the Multiverse only knows you for the horrendous acts you've committed, it's hard to make allies and form bonds. Error, the god of destruction, knows all about this. Why would anyone want to befriend someone who could turn around and murder them in cold blood, who could decimate their entire world without blinking? But, when the the Star Sanses - a group who's beliefs and purpose run against Error's very existence - subject Error to immense traumatic injury he is unable to do any destroying. Error expected to die. He was waiting for his SOUL to crack one final time. Then someone lifted him up and took him home. Who are these people!?

Dream makes a desperate attempt to finally end it all. He finally wants to end it for good. The guilt was too much for him. However, death rejects him and he gets subtly house arrested by Nightmare. Can you die from too much affection..? Asking for a friend. *Adopted from RoseyRebel*

Error didn't know what to expect after being pushed into the Void. He didn't expect to be transformed into a teenager. After Error destroys his timeline, Geno moves in with Nightmare and his gang. He expected a bunch of things from the infamous group of villains, but them acting like crackheads 24/7 was not one of them.

As the years turned to centuries and Dream kept trying to get his brother back to how he used to be, he started to lose hope. He started to doubt that his brother would come back and he started to put less effort in battles and persuasion. It was quite noticeable after a day or two. After a month of this, Nightmare wanted to gain answers from Dream about his lowering efforts. At their following fight Dream did something unexpected, to stop him from doing it, Nightmare would take him to his castle to keep an eye on him, but what he also didn't expect was that Dream wouldn't struggle and almost come willingly. Dream was slightly surprised at how much negativity was at the castle. If he wasn't feeling negatively himself, he would've probably fainted. And if he still cared, he would've struggled against Killer as he almost dragged him to a cell in the dungeon. This almost worried Nightmare, why was Dream like that? Later Nightmare questioned Dream and was shocked at his answers.
