{PART 1 COMPLETE; PART 2 COMING SOON} It's hard to be a royal. It's not terrible, though, if you're a female middle child in a small liberal Nordic country with an agnatic seniority monarchy. Kajsa Larsson, a.k.a. Princess Catherine Ulrika Isabella Sophia Gunilla of Ensammaberg, Duchess of Dvärgstad, leads a peaceful and rewarding life, working as an illustrator in a large publishing house in London. Her hobbies include hanging out with her five close friends, half-heartedly hiding her true identity, yoga, tennis - and pining over her oblivious coworker Danny Carter, the Head of the publishing house's IT Department. If he doesn't seem to notice her interest, and she's too respectful and well-mannered to push harder, will they ever get together? Also, if they do, it's not like she's going to inherit the throne, and he has to face the question of possibly becoming a Prince Consort, right?

"You're atheist," I remind him. "You don't believe in god." "I believe in you," He murmurs, letting the cigarette hang from his lips. "I believe in whatever you believe." He says, letting the confession roll off his tongue as if it were that simple. As if god, the devil, heaven, hell-as if none of it really had meaning to him. "That's not how it works," I mutter as we walk down a few more alleyways-the city of Manhattan coated in a light blanket of snow. Henry Vitiello had never had anything to pray for, that is, until he met me-the only thing that had ever opened his mind up to the possibility of religion "Isn't it?" He argues, taking the cigarette by his middle and pointer finger before blowing the smoke out. "I'II dip my hands in holy water if it means I could touch you." "You'd probably burn." 𓆩♡𓆪 𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐘 𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎, the reaper. He's a prick. An asshole. A pretentious son of a bitch. He's not perfect. He's not even decent. But he's hers. Going through my pictures, I went to the one that I had just taken, and the phone slowly slipped out of my grasp. What had escaped my notice before is that the couch I had taken the picture on was against a window, which showed the backyard of the house. But in this picture, it wasn't an empty backyard. No, behind my smiling face was another one, outside the window. It was his face. Covered with a black ski mask, watching me. *** All 19-year-old Layna wanted to do was forget about the guy that broke her heart, and move on with her new boyfriend Brian. But instead, she unwittingly attracted the attention of a stalker. Someone who had been watching her every move for a month, plotting and planning for the perfect moment when he could take her. What Layna never would have expected was that when he finally kidnaps her, she would have to undergo "The Test". The Test that the girls before her had gone through. The one they failed, and payed heavily for. Will she pass The Test or will she die like the others?

Gemma isn't what you would call normal. With a genius IQ, a not so great home life, and a hard time staying in tight spaces, the girl's got a few issues. She never thought that she would be saying that a new issue was four older brothers she had no idea about. Brothers who thought she died twelve years ago? But not everything is as it appears with our lovely little Gemma; same with her new brothers. Nothing is as it appears, it seems. With a past worse than expected at first glance, literal demons that can bite them in the ass, and a couple of plain grouchy Starbucks attendants, this will be one crazy ride. But will this ride destroy the family or bring it back together? Don't look at me, I don't know. You'll have to read to figure that out. (The chapter titles are in Portuguese but the story is in English, I promise you).
